Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Egypt: Sharm El-Sheikh is the best sustainable Arab tourist city

The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced on its official Facebook page that the city of Sharm el-Sheikh on the Red Sea coast won the competition of the Arab Union for Tourism Media as the best sustainable Arab tourist city.

The Ministry also explained in its statement that this step comes in appreciation of the efforts made by the Egyptian government to transform Sharm El-Sheikh into a green, environmentally friendly city as it prepares to host the twenty-seventh climate conference last year.
