Egypt's Tourism Renaissance and Vision for Future Development Highlighted at the 'Story of a Homeland' Conference
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister, confirmed that Egypt tours and the tourism sector in Egypt have never seen a renaissance like the one that took place during the past nine years.
The Prime Minister added that the government aims to
double tourism inputs from Egypt travel packages from $15
billion to $30 billion in 5 years. He continued that Egypt throughout history
has not had any complete development experience other than the experience of Muhammad Ali Pasha, which
was destined for stability for a period of time.
The Prime Minister explained that during 2013, Egypt
witnessed a sharp collapse of infrastructure, high unemployment rates, and low
development. He added that countries similar to Egypt's conditions, such as
Malaysia, China, and others, have achieved progress in decades.
The Prime Minister added, during the opening of the
activities of the “Story of a Homeland” conference in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, that countries are not
built overnight, adding that development was the biggest priority and the key
to solving the problems of these countries.
He explained that projects are the path to the state's advancement, in addition to developing ambitious national programs and investing in infrastructure. A large
number of ministers, politicians, youth, media professionals, and

Nation conference, “Between Vision and Achievement.” President Abdel Fattah
El-Sisi welcomed the attendees participating in the “A Nation’s Story between
Vision and Achievement” conference in the New Administrative Capital.
President Sisi explained that the challenges we witnessed were enough to
destroy the country, like other countries that have so far been unable to rise
again.
President Sisi added: “The Story of the Homeland” will be
told from 2011 until now, explaining that this is from the perspective of a
country that faces great challenges. President Sisi pointed out that there are
countries that fell and did not rise again. He continued, the country cannot
live and develop without work, sacrifice, sincerity, and honesty, not through
words.
This came during the activities of the “Story of a
Homeland” conference between vision and achievement yesterday, Saturday, under
the patronage and presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and it will
continue for 3 days. It will end on October 2 in the New Administrative
Capital, with the participation of a large number of politicians, media
figures, representatives of Egyptian society and its various sectors, as well
as experts and specialists in various fields.
