Italy: great passion for the Egyptian tourist destination... and no change in the position towards Egypt
The Italian Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanchè, stressed the interest and passion of Italian tourists for the Egypt tours, noting that there is no change in the position towards Egypt. This came during a meeting held by Ahmed Issa, the Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, with Daniela Santanchè, the Minister of Tourism of Italy, to discuss ways of joint cooperation between Egypt and Italy in the field of tourism and to discuss ways to boost more Egypt travel packages coming from the Italian market.
During the meeting, the Minister was keen to review the
Ministry’s policies to develop the tourism industry in Egypt and improve the Egypt day tour experience at the Egyptian tourist destination.
He also presented all the supportive measures that the
state and the Ministry are keen to take to support the professional partners
abroad, including Egypt luxury tour
operators and airline companies, including the aviation incentive program,
which the Ministry has extended until next April, implementing joint marketing
campaigns, and organizing a group of Fam Trips for Egyptian tourist
destinations.
The Egyptian Minister stressed the importance of the
Italian market as one of the main markets exporting tourist movements to Egypt,
reviewed the most prominent indicators of this movement, and looked forward to
more tourist flow from Italy to Egypt for Egypt Christmas tours during
the current tourist season.
The meeting also discussed a number of proposals that
would contribute to driving more tourist traffic from Italy to Egypt and
developing Egyptian classic tours such as Egypt Nile cruise tours, which include guided tours to significant historical
sites, making them a popular choice for travelers seeking comprehensive Egypt tour itineraries.
Overall, the meeting between the Egyptian and Italian
Ministers of Tourism paved the way for strengthened collaboration and the
promotion of Egypt as a premier tourist destination, with a particular focus on
