Launching of a virtual tour of the Jabal al-Tair area in Minya (one of the important points in the itinerary of the Holy Family’s journey in Egypt)
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism and Egypt Tour Promotion, recently launched a virtual tour of the Gabal Al-Tayr area in Minya Governorate, which is one of the important points on the Holy Family’s itinerary in Egypt.
For his part, Amr El-Kady, CEO of the
Egyptian General Authority for Tourism and Egypt Travel Packages
Promotion, explained that the launch of this Egypt classic tour comes within the
framework of the efforts made by the Ministry, represented by the Egyptian
General Authority for Tourism Promotion, to promote the product of the Holy
Family Journey, especially in light of what the points along the route in Egypt
are witnessing.
Restoration and development work and raising the efficiency
of tourism services provided within the framework of the “Revival of the Holy Family’s Journey” project, to which the Egyptian state, represented by the
Ministries of Tourism and Antiquities and Local Development and a number of
concerned authorities, pays great attention to Egypt's tourism.
He also pointed out that this Egypt luxury tour will provide the opportunity for Egyptians and
foreigners to virtually tour the Jabal al-Tair area in Minya Governorate, which
the Holy Family passed through during their Egypt family tour, as this
Egypt tour itinerary is available in English and Arabic.
Suzan Mustafa, Director General of the Authority’s
Tourism Promotion Department, added that this virtual Egypt group tour will be promoted on the Authority’s website by accessing

It is worth noting that the itinerary of the Holy
Family’s journey in Egypt includes 25 sites that the Holy Family passed through
during its Egypt day tours, such as the Hanging Church and Wadi El Natrun. The
Ministries of Tourism, Antiquities, and Local Development have opened 10 points
on the itinerary so far, including 9 archaeological sites and a non-archaeological
site, and work is underway to complete all points. track as soon as possible.
