The Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion concludes its promotional tour in the Japanese market
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, concluded its promotional tour in the Japanese market to introduce Egypt travel packages and its diverse and different tourism products, such as Egypt group tours and Egypt family tours, especially the cultural tourism product. This tour lasted a week and included the cities of Tokyo and Nagoya.
Mr. Amr El-Kady, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority
for Tourism Promotion, explained that this tour comes within the framework of
the Authority’s plan and activities to promote Egypt luxury
tours and the cultural tourism product that characterizes the
Egyptian tourist destination, within a series of promotional tours organized by
the Authority for Dr. Zahi Hawass in a number of targeted tourism markets to
promote Egypt tours. Cultural Center in Egypt,
which began with a visit to the countries of the Baltic region and the Danish
capital, Copenhagen, last September, within the framework of continuous and
fruitful cooperation between the Ministry, Dr. Zahi Hawass, and Egyptian
embassies abroad.
During this tour, Dr. Zahi Hawass gave three lectures at Kamazawa
and Waseda Universities in Tokyo, and Nagoya University in Nagoya, during which
he reviewed the archaeological discoveries that were recently uncovered in
Egypt, including the discovery of the Golden City in Luxor, which
was chosen as the most important archaeological discoveries in the world for
the year 2021, and the latest Discoveries in the Saqqara antiquities area, the secrets of the Pyramid of Khufu, the Sphinx, and the discovery of the
mummy of Queen Hatshepsut, in addition to sending a
message to take Egypt day tours and
enjoy a unique tourist experience by enjoying the tourist and archaeological
components and the various tourist patterns and products that characterize the
Egyptian tourist destination.
Mr. Amr El-Kady also gave a presentation in which he
reviewed the tourist and archaeological components of the Egyptian tourist
destination and the various Egypt classic tour
experiences that tourists can enjoy during their Egypt tour itineraries.
Dr. Zahi Hawass and Professor Amr El-Kady met with the
Mayor of Tokyo, where the depth of the distinguished relations between Egypt
and Japan and the Egyptian government’s keenness to boost the tourism movement
between the two countries were emphasized.
On the sidelines of the tour, the CEO of the Authority
held an expanded meeting with officials of the Japanese Tourism Association
(JATA) in the presence of more than 30 Japanese tourism companies, during which
he reviewed the latest developments and developments witnessed by the tourism
industry in Egypt and the efforts being made to develop the tourism
infrastructure in the Egyptian tourist destination, in addition to talking
about the distinctive tourism products and patterns that Egypt offers to
tourists in the coming period, such as Egypt Christmas tours and Egypt Easter tours,
especially for Japanese tourists.
Ways to enhance cooperation were also discussed to push
more tourist traffic from Japan to Egypt, whether on Egypt shore excursions or any other type of tours.
A number of media meetings were also held with
representatives of newspapers, news agencies, and Japanese television channels,
during which the tourist and archaeological components, products, and tourism
patterns enjoyed by the Egyptian tourist destination were introduced, as were
