 Abu Simbel es un yacimiento arqueológico situado en la orilla occidental del lago Nasser , a unos 290 kilómetros al suroeste de Asuán . La lista del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO lo incluye como uno de los lugares de "Antigüedades de Nubia".
